STEAM Teacher (Upper Elementary & Middle School)
At Escuela Sierra Nevada, we believe in inspiring students to become innovative thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and lifelong learners. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic STEAM Teacher to join our academic team at our Esmeralda Campus, teaching students from Upper Elementary through Middle School.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, hands-on STEAM lessons that integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.
Design and implement project-based learning experiences that foster creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials aligned with the school’s curriculum.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records through the school’s learning platforms.
Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
Previous teaching experience with Upper Elementary and/or Middle School students.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Experience with educational technology and digital learning platforms.
Knowledge of Project-Based Learning (PBL) and student-centered instructional practices.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an academic team.
Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).

En Escuela Sierra Nevada, Campus San Mateo, creemos que el deporte es una herramienta fundamental para desarrollar liderazgo, disciplina, trabajo en equipo y compromiso. Por ello, buscamos integrar a nuestro equipo un(a) Coordinador(a) Bantam, quien tendrá la misión de fortalecer la experiencia deportiva y académica de nuestros estudiantes de High School.
Buscamos un profesional con visión estratégica, liderazgo positivo y vocación formativa, capaz de acompañar el desarrollo integral de nuestros alumnos, generar vínculos sólidos con familias, docentes y entrenadores, e impulsar el crecimiento de nuestro programa Bantam.
Perfil deseado:
• Licenciatura en Educación Física, Entrenamiento Deportivo o área afín (maestría deseable).
• Experiencia comprobable trabajando con adolescentes de nivel medio superior.
• Experiencia como entrenador(a) y/o atleta.
• Habilidades de liderazgo, organización, comunicación y gestión de equipos.
• Dominio de herramientas tecnológicas y plataformas educativas.
